Assupol partnered with Harvest Floor to donate 320 brand-new school shoes to boy children in grades 4-7 in commemoration of Human Rights Day on March 21st. This initiative was born out of the understanding that many children in disadvantaged areas walk barefoot to school and cannot afford school shoes. The aim of Harvest Floor is to enable sustainability and uplift school children in communities that are in need.
The impact of Assupol’s partnership with Harvest Floor in donating school shoes to boy children from grades 4-7 cannot be understated. By providing these children with essential school supplies, they are not only supporting their education but also improving their overall quality of life. Many of these children would have otherwise continued to walk barefoot to school, putting them at risk of injury and illness. The donation of school shoes gives these children a sense of dignity and pride, empowering them to focus on their education without worrying about basic necessities. The schools that benefited from this campaign were Cornelius Masibe Primary, Godwin MasibePrimary and our newly adopted Khutjang Primary School.
It is the first of many school shoe campaigns that Harvest Floor will initiate for new sponsors to partake in every year.
