Assupol partnered with Harvest Floor to donate 320 brand-new school shoes to boy children in grades 4-7 in commemoration of Human Rights Day on March 21st.
Harvest floor hosted its first annual charity Night Golf event on 14 March 2024 to raise funds to support the adopting of more schools and maintaining current schools in disadvantaged areas.
The Harvest Floor team supported a collaborative initiative to address a fundamental and basic need of menstrual hygiene, in young schoolgirls across Mogalakwena by supplying them with sanitary pads.
On 18 July, Harvest Floor spent 67 minutes of community service at Mamagola Primary School in Mogalakwena by donating food parcels and sneakers with the help of our generous sponsors.
So many girls can’t afford these expensive products and therefore miss quality education. Let’s keep these girls in school. Get involved, donate on our website or we will collect from you.
Harvest Floor commits itself to make education possible even in times where covid make it hard or impossible for small children to learn with concrete apparatus. Grade R little ones each received a ‘Grade in a Box’.
Mamagola Primary School is a small rural school in the Magope village, close to the Mogalakwena mining area. This small school with a total of 94 learners and 4 educators had to travel long distances to get clean, drinkable water for everyday use.
Podile Primary School a large school in Ga-Molekana Village, consisting of 898 learners. Imagine having this large school but no running water supply to keep them in school. This was a reality for this rural school of Mapela.
In this process, Harvest provides training support to Gearvest and all other investors under the Leyton Developments banner but take education also to the community with various Teach the Teacher programmes and support of educational institutions.
